IGF1-LR3
IGF-1 LR3, or Long R3 Insulin-like Growth Factor-1, is a synthetic analog of IGF-1 modified to alter its interaction with IGF-binding proteins and extend its biological activity in experimental models. It consists of 83 amino acids and has become widely studied in laboratory research involving IGF receptor signaling, cellular growth, protein metabolism, and tissue-related biological processes.
IGF-1 LR3 research has explored its interaction with the insulin-like growth factor-1 receptor (IGF-1R), a receptor tyrosine kinase involved in numerous intracellular signaling pathways. Researchers have investigated receptor activation in relation to cellular proliferation, differentiation, protein synthesis, and metabolic activity.
Another significant area of IGF-1 LR3 research involves intracellular pathways such as PI3K/Akt and MAPK signaling. Laboratory studies have examined these mechanisms to better understand how IGF-related signaling participates in cellular growth, survival, metabolism, and tissue biology.
IGF-1 LR3 has a molecular weight of approximately 9.1 kDa and is synthetically produced for controlled research applications. It is typically supplied as a lyophilized powder for laboratory investigation involving IGF-1 receptor biology, cellular signaling, protein metabolism, and related biological pathways.
